Make dilemmas, not targets
Challenge choices and opinions without attacking the person making them. Do not harass, threaten, shame, dox or encourage others to target someone.
Not allowed
- Hate or dehumanising content based on protected characteristics.
- Threats, instructions for serious harm, glorification of abuse, or sexual content involving anyone under 18.
- Private information, impersonation, fraud, spam or attempts to manipulate votes.
- Content you do not have permission to use, including another person's copyrighted work or identity.
- Anything unlawful or designed to compromise the service, its accounts or other users.
Use the right tone
Keep Friendly suitable for a broad audience. Put mature subjects in Adult, and reserve Dark for 18+ material. A tone label does not excuse illegal content, hate, harassment or exploitation.
Moderation and reports
Use the in-app report control for a question, or email info@wouldyourather.co.uk with enough detail for us to find the content. We may remove content, reduce its reach or restrict an account. Context, severity, repetition and risk all affect the response.
Appeals
If you think a moderation decision was mistaken, email info@wouldyourather.co.uk from the address connected to your account and explain what you want reviewed.
